How do I use the Parental Controls and Content Filter?
FREEmail
has content filters to help you protect your children when online from being
exposed to explicit material or accessing adult websites. The
FREEmail
Content Filter, located in the
FREEmail
Toolbar currently restricts access to over 65,000 recognized adult web sites.
FREEmail
users can even control the level of protection by creating their own list of
‘off-limits’ websites.
(FREEmail
does not make any guarantees that all inappropriate content will be blocked,
filtered, removed or that minors will be absolutely safe from inappropriate
content. It is always a good idea for parents to directly monitor the Internet
activity of children at all times.) Best of all, the Parental Controls and
Content Filters are password protected- to keep the off-limits website list
truly off-limits. To customize the Content Filter controls click on the
‘Utilities’ button on your toolbar.
